Join us for the ultimate adventure bike experience alongside the Roof of Africa Hard Enduro event! Introducing the three-day Adventure Ride that allows you to witness the thrilling feats of Hard Enduro riders like Wade Young, Travis Teasdale, and more, all while exploring the breath taking landscapes of Lesotho on your own adventure bike or enduro bike. Here’s a breakdown of the itinerary:

Wednesday – Registration:

Arrive at the event’s registration area Avani Hotel
Specific Adventure Ride entry number sticker for the 3 days of riding.
Get acquainted with fellow riders and prepare for the adventure ahead – Welcome to join the event kick-off at Avani.
Collect the Participation pack. Roof ADV Backpack, Socks, Official T-shirt and more
Collect tracking device.

Thursday – Day 1- Round the Houses for ADV riders and Hard Enduro Time Trial Spectating :

Participate in the Original Adventure Round the House that has kept the fans of Maseru coming back for more year on year.
Adv riders will do two laps of a course that has a high speed straights fast bends and a nice twist just before the finish line.
After the ride you’ll have the opportunity to head out of town to watch the Hard Enduro Time Trial which is a point to point event over 30kms.
You will be given a track that can take you one some great dirt roads along the way from the TT Start to TT finish.
You will get to see first hand what the Hard Enduro riders get up to while you get to enjoy a ice cold drink at the finish from our sponsors.
Marvel at the skills and determination of top Hard Enduro riders as they navigate this challenging terrain.

Friday – Day 2: ROMA to Music Box Spectating:

Start your day at just behind the Airport and embark on a specific scenic route that takes you to specific spectating points along the Hard Enduro course. Orange or Green routes.
Enjoy lunch and drinks that can be purchased along the way at the many friendly local taverns and shops.
Continue your ride to other spectator points and then arrive back at Music Box in time to witness the intense race finish.
Capture unforgettable moments as the Hard Enduro competitors complete this gruelling stage.

Saturday – Day 3: Music Box to Music Box Adventure Ride:

Depart from Music Box again and be ready for an epic adventure in and around the country side.
Along the way, stop at designated spectating points to witness the action-packed Hard Enduro event, Orange or Green Routes.
Immerse yourself in the spirit of this challenging race, all while conquering diverse terrains and landscapes.
Finish off at the Music Box or the DSP as the day’s adventure concludes.
Capture unforgettable moments as the Hard Enduro competitors complete this final gruelling stage.

Additional Information:

Enduro bikes are also welcome and will be able to ride and enter the round the houses as the Adventure bikes do.
Throughout the adventure ride, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with fellow riders, share stories, and make lasting memories.
Safety will be a top priority, and riders will receive guidance on navigating the routes and spectating areas.
Support vehicles will not be available for any necessary assistance.
This adventure ride is open to riders of various skill levels, but it is recommended to have prior adventure bike experience.
No obligation to stick to the routes we have mapped out if you feel for being more adventurous on your own.
Safe parking for your bikes overnight and tents will be in a secure area.
This is an unassisted event and you will need to make sure you have all the necessary tools and back-up in the event something goes wrong with your bike.
GPS units will be provided to the riders in case of a major medical emergency with a medics on call.
Please ensure you have a way of communicating in the event of something going wrong and you need assistance. Have a Lesotho sim card and airtime available!
Orange and Green routes are available depending on the capabilities of the rider. Orange being the harder of the two.

Accommodation

We are excited to host this unique and immersive accommodation experience for participants of the Roof of Africa Adventure Ride and Roof Hard Enduro in our tented village. Our Tented Village offers participants a one-of-a-kind opportunity to connect with nature while enjoying the comforts of an exciting campsite. Imagine waking up to the crisp Lesotho air, surrounded by breath-taking nature, enjoying the camaraderie of fellow adventurers and Hard Enduro riders around a campfire. Our spacious, comfortable tents are equipped with modern amenities to ensure a restful night’s sleep, so you can wake up refreshed and ready to tackle the trails.

The cost for the Glamping will be over and above the entry fees:

4-night accommodation ( Wed- Thur- Fri- Sat)
R 6555 (excl VAT) for a single bed tent with breakfast and dinner
R 8855 (excl VAT) for double bed tent with breakfast and dinner

The tents include the following

VIP Toilets and Showers

There is LIMITED SPACE for the tented village accommodation available, up to a MAX of 200 people, so make sure you book as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
